Reducing diesel pollutant emissions
Diesel engines are very attractive power generators for all sorts of vehicles and stationary equipment, however their emissions are a serious health hazard and they pollute the environment with substances that cause acid rain and may be a danger for the ozone shield. Particularly soot particles are known to be a significant hazard for humans and animals. Consequently legislation was developed to reduce the emission of diesel engines and maintain or improve the ambient air quality.
